Star Lawes

Virtual Executive Assistant and Operational Support.

Things can get very hectic very quickly inside a growing business. Before you know it, you have 10,000 emails in your inbox with no way of working out what’s urgent. You’ve missed a cracking opportunity because no one was there to book or remind you about the meeting.

You’ve lost a client because they went unanswered a day too long and your employees are grumpy because you forgot payroll yesterday.

At the same time, you’re trying to grow your business, your passion project, your baby! But you’re feeling bogged down by all this administrational clutter.

Enter Star…who actually loves tidying administrational clutter (some of us are just a bit sad like that).

Whether its just a spot of personal admin here or there so you can get your weekends back, or more hands on support, I’m here with an array of offers that will bring a smile back to your face and take your inbox down to 0 (did you think you’d ever see the day?).

This is me,

Star

  • Kupa Teao, Former CEO, Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation (Melbourne)

“Star was a pleasure to work with and a key contributor to my success as CEO, especially in managing my heavy schedule and constant requests to attend and participate in high-level meetings. In addition to keeping things moving in a very busy office and ensuring nothing fell behind, she introduced new ways to keep projects and my workload moving with effective, streamlined processes.

When things got stressful and deadlines approached, Star always came into the office with a positive attitude and managed these challenges efficiently and effectively.

She is well respected by her peers and always lends a hand when needed. If you engage her services, you will not be disappointed. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Star.”

  • Hannah Whitty, Creative Director, The Plum Agency (Surrey)

“It was always such a delight working with Star. She’s a quick learner, always eager to take on new projects and lend a hand where needed. You won’t regret having her on board!”

  • Safiya Sachedina, Operations Manager, Dispatch (Montreal)

“Star is an absolute pleasure to work with. Her positive attitude and dedication to learning brings out the best in all the people around her. She’s kind, respectful, and passionate about her work. I cannot say enough good things about her”

  • Kayne Brennan, Former Head of Tech, Skylark Creative Agency (London)

"Star was an integral part of my working life at Skylark. She was dependable, fun and committed. Always eager to learn. She has been missed!"

The offerings

Take a look at the various services I provide to my clients.

If there’s anything you can’t see, feel free to get in touch and we can talk through your specific needs on a free discovery call.

A woman with short dark hair, wearing sunglasses and a pink sweater, is sitting at a wooden table outdoors with a wooden lattice fence behind her and a coffee cup in front of her.

This has allowed me to become familiar with a number of different systems and comfortable with a variety of processes and structures.

In my spare time, I love visiting a new art exhibition, dancing, and keeping my creative hand in the game, whether its drawing, photography or trying something new (the latest is poetry).

I am very open minded and enjoy meeting new people who I can learn from. I love to laugh and although I take my work seriously, its done with a smile.

I work with an array of clients internationally, so wherever you are, get in touch using the link below. Lets chat through what I can do for you.

Hi, I’m Star.

I have spent over 8 years supporting CEOs, founders and senior teams across creative, cultural and purpose-driven organisations. From international fashion organisations to startups with no more than 3 people, I’ve seen it all and learnt an awful lot along the way.

I’m a creative that loves working with like-minded people. I’m incredibly organised, but also approach my work with a positive and “can-do” attitude, which is sometimes, when things get tough, exactly what you need. Someone to tell you it's possible and that they’re here to help you get it done.

Having spent a number of years in this line of work, I’ve been lucky enough to take it to a few corners of the world. As well as 5 years in London, I have lived 3 years in Melbourne and 18 months in Montreal.
